ONE OF THIRTY MODEL 99 SAVAGES RECENTLY RELEASED FROM A PRIVATE 99 COLLECTION, FINAL RELEASE, NEVER GUN SHOWED AROUND,
RECEIVER: TAKEDOWN, internal rotary magazine, brass cartridge counter and magazine follower, loaded cocking indicator on top tang, safety by lever, top tang factory drilled and tapped for tangent sight, receiver retains 20% of original blue w/ scattered moderate to heavy tarnish all over, lever retains 0% finish having been wire brushed, lever boss code "M".
BARREL: round, 20” length, BORE IS SURPRISINGLY EXCELLENT, deluxe Savage open rear elevator sight adjustable for windage and elevation, front sight small integral ramp with small blade, barrel retains 70% of original mottled blue,
STOCK: Walnut, STRAIGHT STOCK, factory 13” L.O.P. over decent grooved steel buttplate featuring an excellent early Savage Indian logo, Schnabel forearm, plain buttstock and forearm retain 95% refinish,
