This just one of those H R pre-WWII beauties. Almost flawless.
At worst case, it's 99% original factory finish. The only loss is a hint of muzzle wear, the usual, but very slight cylinder turn ring and a very small surface stain on the right side of the barrel. The hammer is in the white and that too is at least 99+%. The are no scratches, rust spots, pin pricks or rub marks anywhere.
The checkered walnut grips are without any sign of use. No dings, splits or flattened points. None of the screws, including the rear or front sight adjustment screws have ever been tampered with.
The recoil shield, force cone and chambers are just about pristine.
The bore like the rest of the gun is awesome. The rifling is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling and not a drop of frost anywhere.
This little pre-war quality gem has all the appearance of having been in storage for 70 years or so. It would be real blast up at the cabin or on the firing line.......$625.
