Description:
Firearm is probably the nicest example of an older Model 572 that we have ever encountered. There is only but a few light handling marks here on there on the wood stock and couple marks on the metal. Overall this firearm would rate as 95%+ and does not appear to have many rounds fired through it. To top it off it features a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire scope that has a 50 Yard parallax and BDC Reticle. Pictures are of the exact firearm that you will receive!

The Remington Model 572 is a pump-action rifle manufactured by the Remington Arms Company. It is noted for its similarity to the Remington 870 shotgun in design. It is chambered for the .22 Short, .22 Long and .22 Long Rifle cartridges. Ammunition is fed into the action by a tubular magazine under the barrel which holds 15-22 rounds depending on the size of the cartridge used.

The Remington 572 was introduced in 1954 as a successor to the Remington Model 121 as the M572A having the look and feel of the Remington 870 shotgun. A lightweight version known as the "Fieldmaster" was introduced in 1957. Remington was able to shave 1 pound from the total weight of the M572A by using aluminium to manufacture the receiver, trigger guard, buttplate,. With its sun grain walnut stock and forend on the M572 and M572 Fieldmaster; the rifle was available in three other color schemes: "Crow-wing Black"(CWB), "Buckskin Tan"(BT), and "Teal-wing Blue"(TWB). These abbreviations served as a suffix to the model number. The M572TWB was discontinued in 1960 and the M572BT and M572CWB were last offered in 1962.
