Description:
This is a Merkel 47E SideXSide shotgun in 12 Gauge with 2 3/4 inch chambers, double triggers, and ejectors. This shotgun was made in pre-unification East Germany, marked "Made in GDR". The engraved color case hardened action is in Excellent condition with the only wear at the edges of the action. The 28 inch barrels have a checkered rib with a front bead and are choked Improved Modified and Modified. Condition is Very Good to Excellent wiwth a few handling marks. The bores are bright and shiny. The straight grip butt stock is checkered walnut in Very Good condition with some finish wear on the right side. The checkered walnut fore end is Excellent.There are small sling swivels on the butt stock and the barrel.
