RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1885 HIGH WALL SPECIAL ORDER .32-40 WCF CAL. RIFLE W/32”#5 WEAVY WEIGHT OCTAGON BARREL CA. 1892. Weighs 13pounds. Ultra rare with 32” #5 barrel. Only a handful made. Case hardened frame and single set factory trigger. Original Winchester elevator rear and nickel blade front sights. Standard factory forend and custom checkered pistol grip semi—schuetzen butt with nickel plated Swiss butt plate. Forend with minor hairline near tip which has been nicely repaired. Butt with hairline repair at frame also minor. Fine overall with 40-50% case colors on the frame and 90% plus blue on the barrel. Excellent screws and crisp barrel address and barrel caliber stamp. Tang sight tap screw missing but is easily replaced. Fine bore and in perfect working order. Ultra rare.
