CIVIL WAR NEW HAMPSHIRE MARKED A. WATERS U. S. MODEL 1816 PERCUSSION CONVERSION MUSKET CA. 1860-61. .69 cal. 42” smoothbore barrel. 100% original and as issued to the last screw and in fine plus condition. Lock plate stamped “U.S./A. WATERS” and “MILBURY/1836”. Barrel dated on tang “1836”. Breech stamped “US/JM/P” and “NEW HAMPSHIRE”. Fine metal with crisp grey original patina. Excellent markings. Stock with nearly all the original finish and excellent “LS” script cartouche. Working order and very good bore. Really nice example and rare with the New Hampshire marking.
