Description:
this is a beautiful restocked German Guild gun. Cal.8x57. This rifle exhibits a round barrel with full length rib with open rear sight and ramp front sight, double set triggers , some light engraving on top of receiver and trigger guard. The stock is made from exhibition grade Bastogne walnut with the Bavarian style cheek piece, checkered in what appears to be 24LPI. It also has a buffalo horn grip cap and buffalo horn basket weave butt plate, the blank alone was in excess of $700.00. The bluing is about 90% Bore is excellent. gun has not been fired since restocking. Double set triggers function flawlessly. Please note THE LENGTH OF PULL IS 16 1/4" FROM FRONT TRIGGER. this rifle was stocked to fit the owner at 6" 5". It can be shortened though by a competent gunsmith. This is a consignment gun the owner is in a home and can not possess any firearms. Note also this gun will be insured for theamount and shipped in a hard plastic case.
