Description:
Accurate replica of High Standard HDMS OSS Pistol, with integral silencer. Built on 40's vintage High Standard HD-Military host pistol. Pistol has correct external dimensions and appearance, but uses modern "K" baffles (originals used disposable screen washers). Able to be completely disassembled for cleaning. Includes close reproduction of original box, and exact reproductions of stickers and papers that came with original OSS guns, plus some bonus materials that came with other Hi-Standard pistols of the era. Also includes test target which is reproduction of the one that came with original OSS Pistols. Includes Remington 22 LR ammo box of correct vintage, as issued with original pistols. The “Property of U.S” markings are accurate reproductions.Your choice of either new walnut grips or new black grips (as issued by OSS). If you want both, add $75. I have been an SOT for 12 years, and THIS IS THE QUIETEST SUPPRESSED 22 PISTOL I HAVE EVER FIRED. With CCI Standard Velocity, it has no FRP that I can hear, and is quieter than Ruger MK IV with the new Oculus can, quieter than my SRT Arms integral Ruger MK II. It is also very accurate. They get a new mainspring and recoil spring. They are then detail stripped, and get manganese phosphate Parkerizing finish. Once the build is complete, the guns are test fired again with CCI Standard Velocity ammo. The gun is in new condition inside and out. Excellent machine work and attention to detail.
