Description:
This is a terrific first year Colt Police Positive target from 1910 and remains in very high condition. It is chambered in .22 Wrf. and ammo is still available. It is certainly one of the best condition early Police Positive Targets that we have encountered. It retains most of it’s high polish bluing along with the fire blued hammer, trigger, grip screw and sights. This gun has the stylized “C” Rampant Colt logo which was only marked on these for the first three years. The factory original hard rubber grips are free form cracks and chips and look about new. The gun is mechanical perfect, locks up tight, and the bore is excellent. I would rate this gun in the 98-99% range. The serial number is 301 which means it was made the first month of production. The gun includes two copies of early Colt brochures on the Police Positive Target. It would be difficult to find a better one from this time period and certainly would fit the best collections. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
