Description:
Smith and Wesson M&P caliber-.38 Special, double action revolver built on the square-butt K frame with five screws. 6-inch pinned barrel with 1/10-inch rounded blade front sight, six-shot fluted cylinder, serrated trigger, finely checkered hammer and walnut grips with diamond inserts and S&W monograms. Smooth backstrap and forestrap. Like new condition, nominal user wear for its age, mostly holster wear on the muzzle/high edges and action wear on the cylinder and extractor rod. Serial number with “S” prefix reading “S 820xxx” putting this M&P around 1945.
