Description:
Nice Pre 64 Winchester 70 standard rifle in the scarce .22 Hornet caliber. Confirmed NO alteration to K Hornet as so many have been. 24" Barrel. Factory drilled for scope bases. S/N 302*** with faintly etched but clearly matching bolt Mfg.1954. 95% Blue. 95% varnish with some scattered light spotting on R side of buttstock most likely from cleaning solvent penetration, and what appears to be a very small chip at toe which was reattached. Excellent mechanics and bore, with a very comfortable, but easily removable ace trigger shoe installed. Should make a great collectable shooter!
