Description:
Beretta S3 EELL Game Gun in 12 Gauge. 28” Boehler Antinit Steel barrels choked Mod. (.025) & Full (.034). 2 3/4” chambers and auto-ejectors. The coin finish receiver has full coverage Italian scroll & floral engraving, signed by master engraver, Zaina A. The action features a double cross-bolt lock-up, a thumb nail lever, hand detach side lock, gold-plated pins and non-selective single trigger, also gold plated. The blued top lever has a gold inlaid crown and a skeleton-floral decorated thumb-piece. The blued trigger-guard also has floral engraving, plus a blind initial oval and the serial number is engraved in the tang. The butterscotch toned, marble figured, European walnut, round knob pistol grip buttstock has fine point pattern checkering and checkered wood-butt. The slim forend has matching checkering, floral engraved hardware and a Deeley type pull-down release lever. Length of pull measures: 13 3/4"; drop at comb: 1 1/2", and drop at heel: 1 5/16”. The shotgun weights: 7 lbs. 2 oz. CONDITION: The barrel blue is in very good condition, retaining its factory satin blue finish throughout, although the bottom barrel on the left side has tiny nick halfway between the forend and the muzzle. The coin finished receiver is in excellent condition and the engraving is very bright and crisp throughout. The top lever and trigger-guard's bluing is very good overall with just a little blue wear on the edge of the thumb-piece. Stocks, forend and butt-stock, have some scratches and a number of small nicks. The lacquer finish is dulled in places and worn off in others. There are two dents on both sides of the forend at the front. The dents do not stand out when casually viewing the shotgun, and they cant be seen in the two photographs showing the full-length of the forend, however if viewed with the light angling just right, they are visible as in last photograph (photo 11). Mechanically the shotgun is in excellent condition, the action locks up very tight, top lever is dead center, breech-face looks new, and the bores are super shiny. Includes a Browning dark brown hard case.
