Appears to be complete, original, correct, and in fair condition. The wood doesn't look like it has been refinished and has some minor wormholes but with nice patina and a pretty clear cartouche on the buttstock. Clear markings on the lockplate and date of 1813 on the barrel flat. Judging by the wear on the left barrel flat, this musketoon saw a lot of hard campaigning during the Napoleonic Wars, with possible service at Waterloo. Displays well as is but could be restored to even better appearance. A nice Napoleonic gun that is not seen too often. Check mu other listings for French Napoleonic cavalry weapons including pistols, muskets, sabers, lances and a cuirasse. Thanks for looking!
