In 1935 Colt introduced the Heavy Barrel model to satisfy the target shooters request. This gun is serialized to the 1938 production year and remains in excellent condition with just a few light marks and small muzzle wear. The gun is mechanically perfect as is the bore. The gun locks up tight and the original checkered walnut grips are free from chips and cracks. The action is velvet smooth just like when it left the factory. The gun includes the box and Shooting Suggestions pamphlet along with a copy of the 1930’s Colt brochure for the Officers Model Target. The box remains in excellent condition and does not have any broken corners or damage. Also included are copies of a few Colt ad's from the late 1930’s showing the success of the new Heavy Barrel Officers Model Target. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
