Rare!!! For Left hand Hunters or Shooters Collectors Welcome!!! Antique Prior WWI Period 1910 -1920th . GERMAN sniper rifle scope Certar 4.5 X magnification C.P. Goertz/Bertlin with DRGM side mount and base --rare sniper mount. Base can be work on left side too and mount(just need resoldering) to set up for right hand shooters.Elevation adjustment and focusing work good. Lenses in good condition(but objective lens need regluing, see small spot on photo #7-8,size 11am to 1 pm width 4-5 mm) without damages or cracks. Sharp View when you look thru scope.Very rare scope! Not typical for 100 or more years rifle scope.(I think was made between 1910-1925) Company C.P Goerz/Berlin produced sniper and hunting rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I.With the onset of the war, C.P Goerz scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adopted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 and K98 and other Mausers ,like S weden and etc. Sniping Rifles. All C.P.Goerz scopes are scarce in the USA. Reticle German #1.
