Description:
Between 1968 and 1972 Marlin reintroduced the L.C. Smith shotgun.They produced 2,351 Field Grade guns. In 1971, Marlin introduced a Deluxe Grade with upgrades in both wood, beavertail forend, and Simmons ventilated rib. This model was made for a very brief period of time and there were only 188 made. They have unique serial numbers with a range between: FWM100,000-100,088. This gun is : FWM100037. Features: 12ga. 28 in. barrels choked Mod-Full, PGBT, BTFE, upgraded wood, and a Simmons custom VR.
These guns are exactly the same design as the earlier L.C. Smith made in Fulton, NY and entirely "Made in USA".
Overall condition very good with slight fading to the barrel bluing. The buttstock and forend are in very good condition. The bores are perfect.
The gun is in perfect working order.
