Caliber Info: Was .40-82 WCF but rebored to .45-70 Gov't.
Metal Condition: Patina throughout, save for blue on the bolt, piece holding the loading gate and some on trigger and hammer.
Wood Condition: Metal proud over butt-stock, sanded and refinished some time ago and has some remaining old scratches. Forearm does not appear to have been refinished, shows old scratches and dings.
Bore Condition: Excellent bore, very bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. Does not appear to have been shot much since the bore was bored to .45-70 Gov't.
Barrels: 26" octagon
Stock: Walnut.

13" length of pull.
Butt Pad: Crescent metal butt-plate.
Weight: 8 Lbs.
Sights: Standard rifle front sight with nickel blade and sporting rear sight, later issue with small sliding insert and plain edges.
