Description:
Excellent Winchester Model 12 Skeet Grade 20 Gauge pump action shotgun with the highly coveted Solid Matted Rib, 26" Barrel. 2 3/4" Chamber. Skeet choke marked WS-1. Also marked SKEET under matching Serial #s which are 1065*** indicating 1947 Manufacture date. The original bluing shows very little wear other than the usual longitudinal forearm rub marks from cycling action and a typical breakdown/reassembly scrape at receiver's left side leading edge. The wood retains about all of it's original finish and is absolutely stunning with beautiful figure, showing only some scattered light impressions. Mechanics and bore are excellent. This is a highly collectible shotgun in a difficult to find gauge/configuration, and one of the nicest examples I have seen. 100% original!
