Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine .44-40wcf. The serial number of this example is 9386XX placing the date of manufacture in January 1925. Overall condition of this Carbine is very good with 50-60% of the original factory finish toning top a very nice even plum blue patina. The bore of this "Nickel Steel" barrel is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore is "Mirror" from breech to muzzle no flaws or defects, perfect! The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect. Great little saddle Ring in the most desirable Caliber .44-40wcf.
