Description:
Cavalry or horse artillery officers saddle valise in overall very good condition. Has decorative tooling on the ends with both end loops firmly in place. All leather is sound without tears and no broken stitching. Most of the original cloth linning is still inside. Mid 19th century buckles are good and tightly stitched. Only flaws are left strap is have gone and right strap has been repaired but displays well. A much better condition valise then is often seen.
