Description:
WWII issue Winchester manufactured M1 Garand. The serial number of this example is 2520250 placing date of manufacture in June 1944. Overall condition of this rifle is very good plus. with 95+% of the original phosphate finish. The finish has toned to a very pleasant shade of green/grey. The original Winchester Barrel gauges 5 T.E. and 5 at the muzzle. I checked the parts draw numbers against the J.C. Harrison collectors guide volume six and found the rifle correct in its serial number range. The stock is an original Winchester stock with an R.I.A. cartouche indicating either rebuild or storage at the Arsenal. The cartouche is correct, might be a re-stamp? The stock is in excellent shape with a beautiful grain pattern. Getting very hard to find these Winchester M-1's in this condition.
