VERY UNUSUAL ANTIQUE SERIAL NUMBER 1894 ROUND BARREL RIFLE IN .32 WS CALIBER! This is only the second antique serial number .32 WS I've seen as the cartridge didn't come out until 1902! This is possible as Winchester numbered their receivers in batches and put them in bins. No doubt, this was a receiver on the bottom that didn't get used for a few years- unusual, but not all that uncommon. This example is #141XXX and was made in 1898 so no FFL is required, uncleaned deep aged blue barrel and magazine, mostly plum & brown receiver, bore a little dark but exc. throughout, HAS LYMAN TANG SIGHT WITH 3-LEAF EXPRESS REAR SIGHT (all three leaves intact), Winchester blade front sight, most of the screw heads filled with ancient grease and are excellent, fine butt stock and forearm show normal handling with tight wood to metal fit, one small sling swivel hole in the butt stock that would be easy to fill, truly "attic condition" and never cleaned. Antique!
