PRE-64 MODEL 88 LEVER RIFLE IN .308 WCF CALIBER WITH FANCIER THAN STANDARD WALNUT, MADE 1959, excellent overall with great wood and sharp checkering (the post-64 models had "impressed" checkering), retains about all the blue, front sight still has the sight hood, folding Lyman buckhorn rear sight, has a Weaver style scope base mounted in the factory holes on top of the receiver, handsome straight grain walnut with some contrasting vertical fiddleback, tight action, Winchester marked steel magazine, even the lever retains most of the blue, exc. inside and out! Rifles like this will never be produced again!
