Description:
This original 12 gauge double muzzleloading shotgun has tapered round 29" Damascus cylinder bore barrels with I Hollis & Sons London stamped on the rib. The bores are slightly frosted. The P grade European Walnut stock with checkered wrist, is mounted with very nicely engraved iron furniture. Tastefully engraved percussion locks have I Hollis & Sons London stamped on the plate. Comes with the original ramrod with an uncovered wad screw. Please Note: One of the hammers has been replaced. A repaired crack runs from the below the right lock plate, under the trigger plate and up to the bottom of the left lock plate. A sizable splinter of wood is missing above the left bar in wood lock. Length of pull is 14-1/4", overall length is 46”, weight is 7.6 lbs. Very good wood to metal fit - made by I Hollis & Sons - London. Condition: Good. Our stock number is #P-27-48. Willing to ship anywhere in the US, buyer pays freight and insurance.
