Description:
Beretta 1934 380ACP 3.5” barrel –this pistol is a WWII Beretta model 1934 chambered in 380acp and date on the slide of 1942. The pistol is a WWII war trophy with original holster and copy of the capture papers. The soldier that brought the pistol back was Army PFC. Raymond O. Denman Jr who was decorated for valor and Purple Heart. He fought in the Ardennes during the German Assault of Operation Norwind during the Battle of the Bulge from 1944 to 1945. He was from New Providence NJ and passed away July of 2016. The pistol was acquired from a family member and he told them he took it off a German Soldier. The pistol has original blued finish and Italian Army proofs. Pistol has nwear from age and use but retains most of finish. The holster is original and marked with Denman Jr’s info under flap. Holster was modified to fit standard belts and stitching for belt loop is older showing it was older work. Pistol has a bright bore and strong grooves.
