Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ting Carbine ,38.40wcf. The serial number of this Carbine is 4905XX placing date of manufacture in 1895. Overall condition is very good to fine with 80-85% of the original factory rust blue. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale, possibly unfired... The lever and Hammer has retained Case Colors in protected areas. The stock is proud at all metal contacts. The stock has retained 90-95% of the original factory Varnish. A very well cared for 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine in a scarce caliber. This Carbine books at $8000.00 in very good condition!!!
