PRUSSIAN BY H.A. LINDNER, CONDITION!

General Specs: Charles Daly, Year 1911, 12 Gauge, 6lbs 4oz, SxS
Serial Number: 1810

A rare and wonderful find we have here, a H.A. Lindner made Prussian Daly from the turn of the century (approximately 1910), sn1810, in fine condition marketed by Charles Daly.  Engraved with fine English scroll, with ejectors, cocking indicators, double underlug lock bolts, hidden cross bolt on the doll's head extension, barrel lug extending through the receiver, and sideclips, you will not find a gun with more locking devices than and bells and whistles than this gun.  It even has intercepting safety sears!  This gun is made to carry all day at a delightful 6 1/4lbs. in a 12ga. with 28” Krupp Steel barrels!   Balanced dead on the hinge pin, the Lindner Daly will compare to the finest of English made shotguns with ease.  And the beauty of these Prussian Daly guns cannot be understated.  Just look at the sculpted frame and breech balls, the detail in the engraving, the scalloped action, the perfect wood to metal fit, tear drop points on the raised side panels, with superb checkering and gorgeous Turkish walnut stock.  Even the safety button is a work of art!  This gun has class that is just not exhibited in today's world until you hit guns costing 5 times as much as this one.  Even the forend latch plate is a work of art and the horn schnabel tip is the finishing touch.  All this and it even has 75% factory case color remaining on the frame.  This is the upland bird gun that carries like a 20ga. and shoots like...well it shoots like a 12ga. because it is!  This is not a gun that is frequently encountered and the Lindner guns are highly sought after.  A great investment that will grow in value as you enjoy its use chasing game or breaking clays at the next vintage side x side event.  If you want the finest boxlock money can buy at a bargain price, complete with highly figured European walnut, the finest hand engraving and checkering, with the strength and integrity of German engineering, don’t let this one pass you by.  Thanks for looking!
