Condition: Excellent
Fixed ramp blade front and frame notch rear sights with standard markings. The revolver features near full coverage broad foliate scroll engraving on a punch dot background. Fitted with a checkered hammer and cylinder catch, and a serrated trigger. Retains 99% original brush finish with a faint cylinder drag line, sharp engraving and light handling marks overall. The grips are as new. Mechanically excellent.
Includes the original S&W blue box with the engraving noted in the special features section of the end label.The box includes cleaning tools and papers. The box is very good with some corner and edge wear. Warranty statement printed under lid dated 1955. Warranty card and instruction sheet included, cleaning rod and brush are still sealed in plastic.
