Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine .44-40. The serial number of this example is 3424XX placing date of manufacture in 1906. Overall condition is very good plus. The metal is grey / blue patina with smooth metal and a perfect bore. The bore is bright and shiny from muzzle to breech void of any damage. Wood to metal fit is perfect with beautiful grain pattern. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. On the left side of the receiver you will see a Roll Die Engraving "CARLOS RASETTI 6 RIVADAVIA BUENOS- AIRES", Who was the Winchester sales representative in Argentina at the turn of the century.
