Here is a very nice original Winchester Model 65 in the very popular .218 Bee caliber set up the way you like to find it from the factory. NO extra holes in the receiver.
Very honest gun, 24" barrel with factory bolt peep sight.
This gun still carries the majority of it's bright factory blue. Receiver shows LESS than typical blue flaking.... with flaking on sides & bottom... not oxidized or pitted, just flaked. Blue remaining is bright & strong with flaked areas nicely going to a honest patina.
Barrel remains a strong bright Winchester factory blue with minor ares of oxidation in a small handful of areas. Magazine cap & lever shows most factory blue remaining with minor areas of flaking.
Beautiful untouched screws. Operates crisply. Strong bright unpitted bore.
Nice original bolt peep sight, front sight Redfield bead. Correct barrel sight filler. Swivels added, could be removed easily.
Typical plain grain M65 stock & forend with nice original finish. Unsanded. Uncracked. Very minor handling marks. Original buttplate, nicely fitted with minor oxidation.
