Griffin & Howe 300 H&H Magnum Rifle. G&H Serial Number 2052. Built in 1955. Built on a Winchester Model 70 barrel & action. 26 inch barrel, bore as new. Stocked in classic G&H style. 14 1/8 inch LOP to a red recoil pad. Winchester Super Grade swivels. Beautiful strait grain walnut with traditional oil finish. G&H Double Lever Side Mount with Unertl Hawk 4x scope (post & crosshair reticle). Also included are additional steel G&H one inch high rings. These allow mounting of a modern large objective scope. G&H has 30mm high rings if required. The rifle is in outstanding condition with just some minor handling marks on the stock and some thinning blue on a very small area on the right side of the barrel just forward of the forend, at the muzzle, and at the magazine floor plate. The Unertl scope mounted on the rifle has some small marks on the ocular and objective bells. I have another Unertl Hawk 4x (crosshair reticle) that looks as new, if required. Recoil pad has been replaced due to dried and hardened original. Little used (I am the second owner), classic Post War Griffin and Howe !
