Description:
Rifle is WWII vintage and saw service in Europe. My friend was given the rifle by his uncle (Officer) who returned from the war with it but made the ultimate error and had the stock professionally refinished and it looks like the metal reblued . Rifle is made by UNDERWOD and marked 2-43 which I imagine was date of MFG. Serial is # 1892124.
I fired it today (indoor) and found it quite accurate at 20 yd. with excel. grouping. Out of 15 all were in the black except 1. Had a friend try it and 14 where all over the white except 1 (lucky shot). Rifle comes with proper sling and oiler and 15 round magazine.
Maybe not a great collector rifle . . . but a great shooter! Oh! trigger pull is smooth and around 4 pounds.
