Description:
This .45 caliber Hawken Style rifle has a browned octagon 15/16" x 32" barrel with 1:48 twist that is fitted with an adjustable rear sight that has windage & elevation. Stamped on the top flat is Tingle Mfg Co Shelbyville, Ind USA No 399 and on the left side flat is .45 Cal. The P grade Walnut stock is mounted with brass furniture, including a poured pewter nose cap. The Hawken style percussion lock with Tingle Mfg Co Shelbyville, Ind USA stamped on the plate is activated by double set triggers. The number 399 is stamped on the drum. Length of pull is 14-1/4", overall length is 49”, and weight is 8.8 lbs. Please Note: There is a chip of wood lifting on the left side of the barrel channel which extends as a crack to the lock bolt. This has been repaired. The finish is lifting around the lock bolt. Good wood to metal fit - made by Tingle Mfg - Shelbyville, IN. Condition: Good. Our stock number is #P-26-34.
