Description:
Very fine British 3rd Model Brown Bess War of 1812 period. Markings, mechanically excellent. Smooth metal with little wear overall and no real pitting. Wood is excellent with one tight crack on one side of fore-end (shown). British Board of Ordnance stamps clearly struck. A great “Bess” for collector or re-enactor who wants authenticity. Missing ramrod. 39 inch barrel. Hard to improve upon.
