I have for sale a lovely true pair of Arrieta 578's in 20 gauge. This is in dead a true consecutively numbered pair of guns and they are identical in every detail. If you are thinking of going on a dove hunt in Argentina this is the set that will work perfectly for you and it is ready to go. Both guns are 20 gauge with 28 inch barrels. They are straight english grip, with checkered butts, double triggers, and splinter forends. Both guns are numbered 1 or 2 in gold in three places shown in the attached pictures. These guns have all the bells and whistles, articulated front triggers, bushed firing pins, rolled trigger guards, hand detachable sidelocks, Anson forend latches, and a true sidelock gun. The specifics on this gun are as follows, stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 1/4 X 15 inches over the checkered butts and both are cast off for the right hand shooter. Barrels are 28 inches in length and bores are identical on both guns with both right barrels having .623 bores and .013 chokes for modified, and both left barrels bored at .621 and having .018 chokes for improved modified. Both guns also have 3 inch chambers although I'd never recommend shooting 3 inch shells in a light gun. This set of guns was built in 2000 according to the serial number but have spent most of their life in the gun cabinet as can be seen by the very few light handling impressions. The guns come in a very nice 2 gun aluminum Americase that is as tough as you can get and will totally protect this pair on your long travels to Argentina. The case even comes with a nylon protective cover to protect the case. So in short, you are ready to go with no waiting for an ordered pair of guns to be built and about half the cost at today's prices. With many of the Spanish makers closing their doors and the remainder raising their prices significanly this pair is a nice buy at $9000 for the pair plus $75 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
