#4029 Spencer M1865 Carbine, Contract Stabler Cutoff
This is a Model 1865 .50 caliber, 20” barrel, six groove rifling, 1-23000. This is serial number 13096. The bore is excellent and the mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. All of the markings are sharp and crisp. There are two inspector cartouches on the wrist, EAW and DAP. The wood is very good except for some dings and storage bumps. The barrel retains 80% blue and 40% dark case colors.
