#88814, Remington Model 31 TC Trap 12 Bore That is Totally Engraved by Gino Cargnel, 30" Vent Rib barrel at .732 .033" (Full), 2 3/4" chamber, Very nice wood with a lot of feather and excellent color and contrast, Checkered pistol grip stock at 14 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 1 5/8" at the Monte Carlo comb & 2 3/8" drop at the heel over a 1" Remington pad, 8 lbs. 6 oz.; Very nice engraving by the Master Gino Cargnel and signed with near full coverage of American Indian scenes, Bison and a lot of floral border work, It is also engraved at the muzzle and the barrel breech, The blue remains at 99%, The receiver and trigger guard finish remains at 99%, The stock and forend are at 99%, The checkering is at 100%, The bore is as new. /////////////////////////////////////// Mr. Gino Cargnel engraved for FN/Browning Arms in Belgium from 1951 to 1977 and then practiced his art here in the U.S. Both Angelo Bee and Gino Cargnel were contemporaries under Felix Funken. Angelo had a lot of influence in bringing Gino to the U.S. in 1978 because of the opportunity for engraving work here. Gino became an apprentice engraver at the age of 15 learning from some of the master's at FN. In the evening he attended the Belgium Royal Academy of Fine Arts and graduated top of his class in design.
