Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
UNTOUCHED & UNCLEANED W&C SCOTT & SON 12 Gauge SxS Muzzle Loader Shotgun w/ Sidelock is in fair condition, as expected by the early serial number 2, dating it to 1865 (doublegunshop). It's un-cleaned with spots of erosion on barrels, bores that may clean to good, mechanics work, overall good wood stocks that would benefit from a careful cleaning and Damascus patterns. Hammer screws are missing.
This gun makes a great, and unique, display piece, and certainly great sentiment to collectors who appreciate the early serial number. Please ask any and all questions before . It is my goal to make sure that you have all of the necessary information and are happy with your purchase.
