Description:
Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine .30wcf (.30-30). The serial number of this Trappers Model 7613XX placing date of manufacture in 1915. Overall condition is good tavern good with the original factory finish toned to a very nice even blue/grey patina. The bore is near perfect (Nickel Steel) and will rate a 9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore is bright, shiny and free of any damage. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood has the typical hits, dings, and scarring you would expect on a Trapper Model, however the forearm is the correct length and the fit is correct at all metal contacts. I do not see any period repairs to the wood and appears to be untouched. This 15 inch Trapper Model has been approved by BATF as original factory and has been Amnesty Registered. A copy of the BATF Amnesty Letter ill be included with this Carbine at time of shipment. This can be bought, sold and possessed by any person 18 years or older....
