Description:
This .58 caliber Model 1841 Mississippi musket has a tapered round 1-1/16" to 7/8" x 33" browned barrel with 1:72 twist that is fitted with a military style adjustable flip up ladder rear sight. The bore is very good. The P grade European Walnut stock is mounted with brass furniture, including a patch box. Two Inspectors cartouches are stamped behind the brass side plate. A large color case hardened military style percussion lock with a spread eagle, US and Harper's Ferry 1847 stamped on the plate, is activated by a single trigger. Complete with metal ramrod and sling swivels. Length of pull is 13-3/4", overall length is 49”, weight is 9.4 lbs. Factory wood to metal fit - made by David Pedersoli. Condition: Good.
