Description:
This .45 caliber Underhammer - Heritage Model rifle has a browned octagon 7/8" x 32" barrel with 1:56 twist and fitted with an adjustable buck horn rear sight. Stamped on the top flat is Challenger Mfg Corp Hopkins & Allen - Improved and on the left flat Heritage. The P grade Walnut butt stock and forend are mounted to the browned underhammer action. Single trigger. Comes with a slightly curved brass butt plate, patch box and brass thimble. Length of pull is 13-3/4", overall length is 49-½”, and weight is 8 lbs. Please Note: The cap box lid is missing. Mild metal freckling is seen on the action and barrel.Good wood to metal fit - made by Challenger Mfg Corp/Hopkins & Allen Co. Condition: Good.
