Description:
Serial #12464, .45 Colt, 6 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This British proofed revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, yoke, extractor, and barrel with the metal retaining 97-98% of the original blue finish that has some minor silvering at the muzzle, a few of the raised edges, and also has some very small impact marks on the leading edge of the front sight blade. A mild turn-ring is present at the rear of the cylinder, and the hammer and trigger have about 95-97% of the original bright color case-hardening remaining. The checkered, diamond-center, S&W medallion grips are correct, but numbered to a different gun on the interior. The grips are in fine shape with minor wear around the flare of the butt and has very little flattening of the points. The lock-up is still tight and the mechanism functions flawlessly. This is a lovely, non-military marked Triple-Lock, in excellent condition and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
