Description:
Serial #15940, .32 RF, 3 1/2" octagon barrel with a very good bore that has some light freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome revolver that has matching assembly numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel and retains about 85-90% of the original blue with flaking on the hard edges, a light turn-ring on the cylinder, and some further finish loss along the gripstraps. The hammer has some traces of original color case-hardening but is predominantly a very dark gray overall and the barrel lock-up is still fairly tight with only a tiny amount of lateral play. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and have much of the original piano varnish remaining with several minor surface blemishes on both panels. The mechanism functions flawlessly and the revolver rates fine plus condition overall. Antique
