SOLD
This is the M41 Swedish Mauser sniper rifle developed by the Swedes in 1941 to meet their needs for a sniper rifle. The overall condition of the rifle is very good and it is matching.
The bore is good. Measured with original aromorers gauges it reads 50, so it is tight.
From the North Cape Publications Collection. This is the rifle that appears in The Swedish Mauser Rifles by Steve Kehaya and Joe Poyer and has a documenting letter.
It has the AGA 3 x 65 m/42scope, relatively rare as they were mostly later replaced with Ajack 4 x 90. Of additional interest is the base is rare as it is a square base -- later a rounded base was used. NOTE: this version of the rifle was not isued with a can for the scope.
Barrel bands, bolt, cocking piece, butt plate, etc. all match.
