Description:
For sale is a 31.5 inch, Perazzi MX2000/3(three notch) carrier barrel. 12 ga shells will not load in the chamber. Cannot be fired with 12 ga. loads. Permanently locked out by Briley. The barrels were originally 18.7 bore. They were back bored to lighten the barrels so they now have the same approximate weight with the ultra light tubes. The weight of the barrels with tubes inserted is 1.698 KG or 3lb's 11.9 oz. The barrels will mate to any MX8 SQUARE mono block style receiver but may need some finish work from a competent gunsmith. &The original weight of the barrel pre-back bore was 1.67KG. POI can be adjusted to 50/50, 60/40, 70/30 even a little higher if you have an adjustable comb. You will need a comb height on your butt stock to accommodate a higher rib barrel. MX15, MX10 type height.
Comes with full set of fitted ultra light tubes with screw in chokes. 20ga. 28ga. and .410. All screw in chokes for all three gauges are skeet/skeet. The screw in "carrier choke tubes" are screwed in place. They allow for the tubes to be inserted correctly. The bores of all tubes and the barrel are perfect. The bluing is excellent except 1.5" below the top muzzle. See photo. Some minor blue wear there. Cosmetic slight bulge. Hard to see. Cosmetic only. Does not penetrate into the barrel. Even if it did it wouldn't matter. The 12 ga barrel is only for tube use. All the tubes are independent of the barrel itself. An Americase ultra light is included. Will handle two barrels, the receiver and butt. All the ultra light full length tubes. The hammer and knock out tool. Only one wrench in 28ga. The flush screw in chokes are all inserted into each tube. The barrels will be shipped with the 20ga. tubes inserted to protect the thin walls of the carrier barrel. Serial #114xxx.
