Stevens (Petrus Stevens) in Maastricht, Netherlands, military arsenal converted in 1890 (and so marked) from single shot to detachable Vitale magazine fed rifle, VERY ORIGINAL MATCHING RIFLE, ALL RECEIVER, BOLT, MAGAZINE, AND SIGHT ASSEMBLY NUMBERS MATCH, ACTION, BARREL AND STOCK SERIAL NUMBERS MATCH, metal was issued in the white, sharp proof marks on barrel, OUTSTANDING MINT BRIGHT SHINY BORE WITH SHARP RIFLING, the Beaumont/Vitale rifles are one of the earliest bolt action military rifles issued, A GREAT MILITARY COLLECTIBLE, Retail value $700.00, Sale priced at $549.00
