Description:
The Winchester Model 24 was made from 1940 to 1957, with approximately 116,280 manufactured. The side-by-side shotguns were built on a boxlock frame, were hammerless, fitted with double triggers, walnut stock and forearm, and were chambered either in 12, 16, or .20 gauge. This mid 1950's 12 gauge double barrel is as described and is fitted with 28 inch barrels (Mod./Full choked). This is the nicest Model 24 I have ever seen, retaining 98-99% of its original blue finish, with only some very minor handling marks. The stock and forearm retain all of their original finish, with only a few very minor handling marks. The bores are bright and the action functions perfectly. This gun is so clean, it's possible it was factory test fired only. Sorry, no box or paper-work. If your looking for a Model 24 for your Winchester collection, it would be hard to find one better.
