A very nice wartime example of famous carbine. This particular gun was built in the Fazackerly Arsenal.
The gun has retained about 85% of the original black painted finish. The loss is due to honest edge wear and some rub marks. There is no rust or pitting anywhere.
The bolt and the left side of the frame are serial numbered the same. There is some sort of inventory or rack number on the right side of the frame.
The wooden stock and forearm are in unusually nice condition showing little wear and retaining about 85% of the original lacquer. There are a few very slight scattered surface nicks and dings. Certainly, no chips or splits.
The bore is really quite nice, with sharp well-defined rifling and some slight scattered surface frost.
There are no import marks. It comes with one 10 round magazine in super condition. Really interesting to show off and should be a real blast to shoot.....$575.
