Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver 17-16
Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver, Serial # 168511, 8” Round barrel with Colt address on top and loading lever mounted below, rebated percussion cylinder with engraved navel cylinder scene, steel frame marked "COLT'S/PATENT" on left side brass triggerguard and steel gripstraps. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Very Fine. Cylinder has all of naval battle cylinder scene and about 50% thinning blue finish, barrel has about 40% bright blue finish with some spots lacking finish; frame, loading lever and hammer colors have faded to a plum color. Grips have 80-90% vanish and are very fine. Numbers including wedge match. Bore and cylinder are in excellent condition. A Very Fine original Old Colt hard to find in this condition.
