30 YEAR OLD ADLER (ITALIAN) AP 74 which is a copy M-16 made for 22LR rimfire ammo imported by MITCHELL ARMS. NEW IN THE BOX! NEVER FIRED! The term NOS (new old stock) comes to mind. Included in the box (the rifle is still wrapped in plastic) is 2, 15 round magazines, a scope (never unwrapped) all scope mounting hardware, a new unwrapped sling, sight adjustment tool, owners manual, disassembly instructions and an operations sheet.
The original owner states that he purchased it 30 years ago (1985-6) and put it in his attic and forgot about it. Never took it out of the plastic it came wrapped in.
I have several people (and dealers) who want to buy it to SHOOT but I think someone would want it unfired, in the box as it was sold. While it may not be "collectible" as firearms go, I won't shoot it and I bought it for that purpose. Checking around various blogs - - - I could sell it for parts alone for over $1,000.00!! Amazing!
I am offering it for $650.00 OBO - I think the owner bought it new for around $200. in 1985
